Start with a Pokémon you already collect

PokéBeach reports that the set includes 30 Pikachu cards by different illustrators, with Ken Sugimori revisiting his Jungle Pikachu illustration. It also identifies new Mewtwo ex and Mew ex cards designed by YOSHIROTTEN.

That makes Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew useful starting points for a focused collection. Choose a language before building the checklist

According to PokéBeach, the September 16 launch is simultaneous worldwide, but Japanese and English card lists differ; some Japanese set cards become English promos.

For your own checklist, record the language and product alongside each target. Leave an unresolved entry blank until its identity and distribution are established. A numbered binder plan is easier to maintain when confirmed cards and provisional placeholders occupy separate parts of your notes.

Give the existing collection its own budget
