Popular Cards weekly watch: 26 arrivals and the price moves to check (2026-09-28)

By ChasingPoké ·

Here is what changed in ChasingPoké’ Popular Cards selection since our earlier snapshot, and what those changes can and cannot tell a collector.

What changed in the list

Between our 2026-09-21 and 2026-09-28 snapshots, 26 cards entered Popular Cards and 40 left it. We could compare prices for 314 products present in both snapshots.

New appearances include Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex - 281/217 (ME: Ascended Heroes, $258.53); Rayquaza (POP Series 1, $221.48); Mew VMAX (ME: 30th Celebration Classic Collection, $24.16); Pichu (Neo Genesis, $257.57); Erika's Jigglypuff (ME: 30th Celebration Classic Collection, $15.74).

Joining or leaving this list can reflect the price band or changes in the selection. It does not establish a change in sales volume.

How to use this watch

Start with the cards you actually want, then compare the exact printing and condition against current listings. A card appearing in Popular Cards is a starting point for research, not a recommendation to pay any price.

These observations use ChasingPoké’ archived daily selection and product market estimates. They do not measure completed orders, individual seller inventory, PSA sales velocity or guaranteed resale value. A price move alone does not explain why demand changed.

We publish at most one observation per UTC week and skip an unchanged comparison. Missing or incompatible historical data is never filled with invented changes.
